What to Expect
Can I just walk in? Do I need an appointment?
Anyone is welcome to create a masterpiece at Art Trooper… no appointment necessary. Just show up. From one person to a whole group… we will accomodate you. If your group is 8 or more… feel free to call ahead and reserve a table in the studio – or book the party room.
What’s the process?
Select the art activity you’d like to create from our retail selection. Choose from one of our everyday arts such as…
- Paint-Your-Own-Pottery
- Mosaic Masterpieces
Or, select our limited-time only “visiting art”. To keep the selection interesting, every three months a new art activity is introduced at Art Trooper such as Terracotta Pot Painting, Jewelry making, Glass Painting, Enameling, Glass slumping, Dried-Flower Arranging and more.
Complete your masterpiece on site in our fully-equipped retail studio. We’ll teach you how! You’ll get all the supplies, training, and tools necessary. No experience necessary!
When will I get my finished project?
Typically, you can take a “visiting art” home with you the same day. However, if you select Paint-Your-Own-Pottery, the team at Art Trooper will need to fire your creation in a kiln. If you choose mosaics creations, we’ll grout your project for you. The fore-mentioned projects will be available for pick-up in a few days…or have your final masterpiece shipped.
How much time should I plan?
Please allow yourself at least one hour…and more time if you come with a group. Some art activities, such as mosaic masterpieces, may take longer. Please come at least one hour prior to closing time, as we reserve the right to close early if no customers are present.
What is the cost?
There are two fees: A low studio fee and the retail cost of the project.
A daily low studio fee of $3.00 per person, per visit, covers materials, utilities, instruction, etc. Coupons are always available on this website.
The retail cost of the project varies depending on the art activity selected. Projects start at $7.00 with the average cost $10.00 to $20.00.
If necessary, there is an additional fee for shipping finished projects.
What about Groups?

For larger groups, we offer a special party room. Our event center is fully-equipped with a modified-kitchen and a private entrance. Perfect for Scout Troops, Fund-Raising Events, Youth Groups, Birthday Parties, Reunions, Bridal Showers, Book Clubs, Fund-Raisers, School Field Trips and more.
Is Art Trooper wheelchair accessible?
