Adult Night is every Friday night!

As featured in Milwaukee Magazine!!! You can always reserve the party room anytime for your wild friends. However, every Friday night from 7pm to 9pm is Adult Night. It’s a hoot! Yes, you can bring your appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages. Perfect for girlfriends, date night, or just escaping the family. No reservation is necessary, but please come by 8:00pm. (Oh, and you might need to think of an alibi – your kids won’t let you come to Art Trooper without them!)

Craft n’ a Draft

Ladies, come experience our monthly Craft n’ a Draft! Once a month (on a Friday night) Art Trooper offers a group-wide CRAFT. We all do the same craft and learn step-by-step from a knowledgeable instructor. After the class (9pm), we’ll go to NSB Bar & Grill (formerly known as Northshore Bistro) for the DRAFT and enjoy other “Reverse Happy Hour Specials”. So gather your girlfriends (the one’s 21 or older) and get ready for a creatively wild time. Please pre-register at (414) 351-1855 or stop by Art Trooper.

Glass Painting Friday, January 20th (7pm to 9pm)
Learn the art of glass painting. A new type of paint makes Glass Painting easier than ever! Learn tips, tricks, and how to choose the right tools to make your glass project a success. Step-by-step instructions will be provided to make a decorative wine glass…or use the provided paints to create your own design.

LOVE Canvas with Julie Trump Friday, February 10th (7pm to 9pm)
Just in time for Valentine’s Day…Robert Indiana came out with his perfect LOVE symbol. Now you can replicate it on a canvas with acrylic paints. No experience necessary as Julie takes you step-by-step through the creation. All materials provided in the fee.

Leather Wrap Bracelet with Julie Schnoll Friday, March 23rd (7pm to 9pm)
Milwaukee’s premier jewelry designer, Julie Schnoll, will teach how to create a popular beaded leather wrap bracelet. All materials provided in the fee.

Canvas Creation with Nicole Buerosse Friday, April 20th (7pm to 9pm)
Our popular teacher, Nicole, takes you step-by-step to paint a canvas with acrylic. Learn all about strokes and material selection. All materials are provided in the fee.

Mosaic Garden Stepping Stone Friday, May 18th from 7pm to 9pm
Add a creative addition to your landscaping. These ceramic pavers are enhanced to create a beautiful garden stepping stone. Learn the “how to” and material selection to create your own personal land stones. Pick up your garden stone one week later. All materials are provided in the fee.

Got Cupid? High School Night

Valentine’s Day, February 11th from 7:30pm to 10:00pm
First time offered!!! Get to know high school students from other schools with a Valentine-Themed Night. Fun activities such as Karaoke, Trivia with Prizes, Henna Tattoos, and Speed Dating will be some of the entertainment. Snacks and beverages will be provided. We are hoping to “attract” an equal ratio of boys to girls. 30 Maximum. Call or stop-in to pre-register.

Middle School Night!

Saturday, March 17th….from 7pm to 9pm
We’re doing it again…only with a St. Patrick’s Day theme! Students in middle school (6th, 7th, and 8th grade) have their own night at Art Trooper. We’ll play games with prizes, create an art project, and eat pizza. Meet kids from other schools. 30 Maximum.

Kids Night Out!

Saturday, March 31st…6pm to 9pm (We cannot pro-rate hours)
Parents…have your own date night! Drop the kids off (5 and up) and we’ll babysit. The kids will enjoy an art project, fun games, snacks, and more with their favorite Art Trooper counselors.

Fee $25.00 first child…$15.00 for each additional child.

Art Trooper U

After school art classes for youth are now here! Art Trooper U is designed for children/pre-teens desiring to learn more about art. These classes are designed for the student that really has a passion for being creative. Local artisans and experienced art teachers will instruct classes on a fun, but in-depth level. All materials are included in the fee. Recommended for ages 7 and up. Store credit will be offered for cancellations made at least one week in advance.

Empty Bowls!

All year round… groups, troops, families and corporations come to paint a bowl for Milwaukee Empty Bowls. The bowls are painted and donated to their main October fundraiser. Proceeds from the bowls go toward local hunger initiatives. To date, Art Trooper has donated over 500 bowls. Each donated bowl is $12.00. To book your group call (414) 351-1855.

Kid’s Drop off… all year long!

We call it “Kid’s drop off” but, parents like to call it “Sanity Restoration”. 1.5 hours maximum!

Just a reminder that parents can drop off their well-behaved children (ages 6 and up) at Art Trooper anytime we’re open. We’re now conveniently located in Fox Point, so there are many great stores surrounding us. So run those errands, take a yoga class, get your nails done, or have lunch with your friends. Children will pick a project from the shelves and pay a studio fee. (Sorry, no coupons or discounts for drop-off!)
